Winter Wonderland is the perfect event to head to before your big New Years Eve plans and has become one of The Amazing Blog’s favourite events of the year. Located in Hyde Park, this annual fair includes rides, an ice rink, food and drink, and an amazing Christmas market.
There is so much to do and see at this year’s Winter Wonderland; whether you go with family or friends, there is something to entertain everyone. Whether you want to go ice-skating on the UK’s largest and most magical ice rink, walk through a field of beautiful ice and snow sculptures, watch some entertainment, or experience some winter themed rides, there is something fun to do for everyone. If none of these things spark interest you, you can simply walk around the fair and take in all the spectacular decorations.
The Christmas Market that is also at this festive fair includes over 150 charming wooden chalets selling unique handmade crafts, traditional yuletide gifts, jewelry, winter wear, wooden toys and Christmas decorations. After hours of shopping and playing on rides, you can grab some drinks or a bite to eat at one of the numerous dining options Winter Wonderland has to offer. Whether you want a delicious sit-down meal in one of the many heated restaurants, or to curl up for some hot cider around the fire pit Winter Wonderland has it catered for.
If you can’t make it to this fabulous fair tonight, it is open until January 6, 2013. To purchase tickets and find out more information visit their website here. Admission into Winter Wonderland is free, but you must purchase tickets to take part in any of the attractions. Winter Wonderland is one of the most loved annual fairs of the year in London, and we at The Amazing Blog know you will have a splendid time if you go!
