You'll know by now that at The Amazing Blog we love treating ourselves to delicious food treats - and good chocolate is one of our favourite things to have with our afternoon tea. So this week we bring you a chocoholics dream: The Chocolate Festival and the opportunity to savour the creations of the world's finest chocolatiers worldwide.
This year The Chocolate Festival will be joined by award-winning chocolatiers William Curley, Marc Demarquette (one of our personal favourites), Paul A. Young, Barry Johnson, Bill McCarrick, Damian Allsop, Paul Wayne Gregory and "The Great British Bake Off" winner Edd Kimber. At The Chocolate Festival you'll have the chance to buy the purest and finest of chocolates to your family and friends while you treat yourself to sumptious delights too.
Visitors will also have tutored tasting sessions, where they'll learn to make their own chocolate and also to compile a whole host of recipes to take home. These talks, tutored tasting classes and demonstrations will be a master classes with the renowned chef and culinary expert Valentina Harris.
The previous Spring Chocolate Festivals that were held in London and other spots across the UK had an astonishing 100k+ visitors. London's Southbank played host to the festival last weekend but for those of you who missed it; go this weekend (14th - 16th December) to Bristol whose turn it is to enjoy this wonderful touring chocolate-fest! So why not wander to Cabot Circus (admission is free) who'll be hosting this festival of chocolate-fuelled delights.
