Alexandra Palace is our pick for where to spend Bonfire Night, owing to the spectacular backdrop of London and the variety of entertainment. We at The Amazing Blog know that Bonfire Night displays should be epic, and this is precisely what Alexandra Place delivers year after year. The Bonfire Night event takes place on the Friday 3rd and Saturday 4th November.

The big and bright fireworks display lights up the sensational panoramic views of London. On top of this, there is a laser show to further illuminate the views. A customised soundtrack by DJ Yoda will play alongside the fireworks display, a unique experience for all the senses. Of course, you can’t have Bonfire Night without the bonfire and Alexandra Palace’s does not disappoint. It is a huge fire that lights up the lower field, perfect for keeping you warm in the chilled evening air.

Not only this, but Alexandra Palace provides the German Bier Festival, where 6000 people gather each night to drink beer served by Bavarian waitresses and dance to the live music. If the German beer festivities isn’t your scene, walk among the dead in the March of the Phoenix Parade. Follow magical characters, including skull-faced fire breathers, through darkness to the light as they celebrate the Rise of the Phoenix. It tells the story of the Phoenix’s rebirth from the flames, alongside a host of fantastical entertainers such as drummers, dancers, motorised animatronics, aerialists, giant puppets and flaming cauldrons. Moreover, there is an ice-skating rink and entire family area with live bands, food and drink, and a fairground.
