Pure Ice

IceBar

It's cold already. Freezing cold. I've even heard that this Winter is going to be the coldest of the last century. Whether it's going to be or not, at The Amazing Blog we can't stop complaining about these low temperatures. Keeping our scarves on while working in the office has made us realise that we haven't featured yet on The Amazing Blog one of the coldest (and coolest) places in London: IceBar. Every proper Londoner and tourist has visited (or has to visit) this classic spot of the capital just near Regent Street.

IceBar offers an incomparable environment where the walls, bars, tables and even the glass is made of ice. IceBar is kept at -5°C  all year around. Everything is made of the purest ice harvested specially harvested from the frozen Torne Ruver in Jukkasjärvi, in Northern Sweden.

Every visitor can stay for 40 minutes and will be given a designer thermal cape with a hood and gloves you keep them warm during their visit. IceBar is completely transformed with a new design theme and layour by a team of skilled ice designers ans sculptors, using ice from this location in Sweden - a source that's been always regarded for its unique purity.

IceBar is literally one of a kind spot in London. It obviously won't do anything to keep you warm during the colder months, but the experience is fantastic!
