HealGel - HealGel Body

blog imageHealGel have something of a cult following in the beauty world, and have always been a huge hit with the girls here at The Amazing Blog. Their soothing and repairing gel formulas were designed by leading plastic surgeons, helping to bring super effective skincare to the masses. When HealGel sent us their newly released HealGel Body, we were keen to find out how it compared to the rest of the cutting edge skincare range.

HealGel Body is designed to soothe and heal problematic areas of the skin. Suitable for daily use, the gel has a cold, watery feel when you first apply it, but quickly absorbs into the skin, leaving it feeling intensely nourished and unbelievably smooth. Fast drying body creams are essential for me, as there’s nothing worse than dressing in the morning with that slightly sticky feeling of just applied moisturiser still lingering. HealGel Body is one of the fastest drying products I have ever come across, disappearing almost the instant that it’s massaged into the skin. As well as leaving your skin feeling smooth as silk, it has also been formulated with regenerating properties, helping to repair and moisturise any troublesome regions. Arnica, well known for its bruise healing properties, is among the list of ingredients, as well as calming and nurturing madecassoside liposomes. The lightweight, paraben-free product has done a wonderful job of banishing my dry skin woes, and has certainly lived up to what we have come to expect from the HealGel range.

Suitable for all skin types, our skin felt well and truly regenerated after using this impressive gel. HealGel Body is available to buy here for £39.50.

The Tru Brand - Holy Trinity Skincare

blog imageWe here at The Amazing Blog pay attention to our skincare regime religiously. So when we discovered The Tru Brand’s Holy Trinity, we prepared ourselves to worship a new found skin saviour. The trio makes up the foundation of any good skincare routine, consisting of the Ultimate Two-Way Deep Cleanse, the Liftonic Toning Treatment and the Holy Grail Facial Moisturiser. With these three products on our bathroom shelf, caring for our skin has never been more heavenly.

Offering a capsule range, all of The Tru Brand products work together in harmony and complement each other perfectly. Formulated with green mandarin essential oil to help unclog congested pores, and fine line reducing Liftonin, the Liftonic Toning Treatment felt really soothing to use, and worked as a wonderfully refreshing precursor to the Holy Grail Facial Moisturiser. Containing soothing camellia oil, the thick moisturiser felt so cooling on my tired skin, ensuring that my visage stayed intensely moisturised all day. A unanimous favourite in the office, however, was the Ultimate Two-Way Deep Cleanse. A versatile cleanser that can be used either as a daily wash, or swiped across the face and neck on a cotton pad, the product felt really hydrating, as well as leaving a delicious citrus scent behind. With extract of wild pansy, a great toxin cleanser, and antioxidant Vitamin E, it really helped to clear away daily grime, leaving me with skin that felt nothing short of purified.

Our skincare prayers have been answered with this trio of divine products. You can purchase the Cleanser, Toning Treatment and Moisturiser here for £25, £28 and £42 respectively.

Luxsit Organic Care - Enrich Hydrating Facial Mist

blog imageHere at The Amazing Blog, we truly love natural, organic brands. So when we heard about Luxsit Organic Care, we couldn't wait to get our hands on their popular products. The Stockholm based luxury brand were kind enough to send us a selection from their range, including the Enrich Hydrating Facial Mist. Thanks to this refreshing and nourishing toner, we've been spritzing our way to more hydrated skin ever since.

All of the Luxsit products use carefully selected plant extracts and traditional medicine to deliver a great range of environmentally friendly products, which do wonders for even the most sensitive of skin types. Offering five series' of products, from Caring to Revitalizing, there's surely something to satisfy everyone’s needs. Having tried our fair share of skincare, we all knew what a great product we'd found in the Hydrating Facial Mist. Part of the Enrich series, the light spray is designed with dry skin in mind. Birch tree sap and cucumber extract contribute to the refreshing mist, which is so fine that I felt more than comfortable spritzing it on over make-up. The spray helped to plump up my skin, reducing fine lines at the same time as giving me a really dewy glow. Although it can be used as part of your cleansing routine, it has found itself a home in my handbag, as it's the perfect product for providing an instant boost on the go!

All of the Luxsit Organic Care products are certified by NaTrue, to help you stay beautiful with a clear conscience. You can find the Luxsit Enrich Hydrating Facial Mist here for £26.50.

Docteur Renaud - Mango Hand and Nail Repair Cream

blog imageFrench pharmacies are known for stocking the crème de la crème of skincare. We long for those Parisian breaks, when we can spend our days perusing the beauty aisles of various boutiques. However, jetting across the channel every time you need a new cleanser isn’t exactly economically sound. So when a little bit of France made its way to The Amazing Blog in the form of Docteur Renaud’s Mango Hand And Nail Repair Cream, we were très excited to try it out.

The French brand combines a love of cosmetics with a love of plants, basing all of their products around a particular type of fruit. The Mango Hand and Nail Repair Cream is part of the Peach & Grapefruit body range, which offers a collection of other delectable sounding products. The first and most distinctive aspect of the product is its divine scent. Sweet mango butter is the main ingredient, making for perhaps the most delicious smelling hand cream we've ever tried. The rich and creamy emulsion, which also contains shea butter and vegetable waxes from jojoba, mimosa and sunflower, glides onto my hands and provides fantastic nourishment, making them feel so soft and soothed. Not only that, the moisture seals itself in all day long to provide long lasting hydration. The cream also works to strengthen nails and soften cuticles, making it the only product you'll need to keep your hands looking gorgeous and smelling good enough to eat.

Despite its French origins, the Docteur Renaud product has the scent that transports us to a tropical paradise. The Mango Hand and Nail Repair Cream is available to buy here for £13.30.

Rejuvenated - H3O Hydration

blog imageHere at The Amazing Blog, there’s no end to the amount of lotions and potions we slather on our faces. But sometimes these moisturisers aren’t quite enough, and we need something that’s more than just skin deep. With Rejuvenated’s H3O Hydration, we were able to give our skin a nourishing boost from the inside, helping us to glow from within!

H3O Hydration, a drink designed to provide intense hydration on a cellular level, contains a mixture of ions and minerals which help to nurture cell function in the skin, and hylauronic acid for an extra moisture kick. A pretty shade of pink when mixed with water, the powder has a lovely, slightly tart taste to it. For me, the sharp berry flavour is a vast improvement to other sickly sweet products I’ve tried. As well as plumping up my skin, it also really helps the body to absorb nutrients, and I did feel slightly more energetic and awake in less than a week of using it. Alongside the hydration drink, H3O also offer Night Repair supplements, packed with vitamins and ionic minerals which work at repairing and hydrating your skin whilst you sleep. A packet of 30 is more than enough to ensure you wake up with a younger, rejuvenated complexion.

It’s important to note that this supplement should not be taken if you’re regularly taking aspirin or similar blood thinning medication. But if you’re on the hunt for a supplement that makes you feel healthier, and your skin look happier, then pick up a sachet of H3O Hydration here for £24.95, along with their Night Repair here, for £30. After all, ‘healthy skin starts from within.’
