Proto-Col Collagen Technology - Miracle Balm

We here at The Amazing Blog love trying multi-purpose anti-ageing products. A recent office favourite has been the Collagen Technology Miracle Balm from Proto-Col. This tiny balm is a multi-tasking miracle balm that’s portable and packed with skin-loving benefits.

The core ingredients include: collagan, hyaluronic acid, beeswax, jojoba seed oil, vitamin E, orange and bergamot oils and coral seaweed. They work together to hydrate and reduce inflammation so your skin looks and feels its best. Since the balm is so versatile, it can be used on lips, heels, elbows, minor burns, bites and stings. For this reason, it’s great for the whole family to use when at home or on-the-go. To reduce redness fast and plump up your skin, use the balm daily wherever you need it.

Here at the office, we loved how easy to balm was to apply. It was easy to scoop the desired amount out of the container using our fingertips, and it felt silky smooth once applied to our skin. It was lightweight while still giving our skin the moisturising benefits it needed.

To get your own Proto-Col Miracle Balm, head here and pick it up for £14.95.

Andrew Barton - Miracle Collection - Hair Brushes

Here at The Amazing Blog, our hair routine is pretty extensive, and we always make sure to have the right tools and products on hand to make our locks look fabulous. The right hairbrush can make all the difference, and right now we’re loving the Miracle Shine brushes from Andrew Barton. Jenclare Brands generously allowed us to try the full range of hair brushes, and we were pleased with the results. Each brush is gold and black in colour, bringing forth a chic and edgy design.

The five brushes in the collection each address a different hair concern or hair type. The Miracle Revitalise and Miracle Volume brushes worked great when styling straight looks, since we got sleek and smooth hair without the hassle. The Miracle Curls brush gave our curly-haired employees defined, natural curls when blow drying, while nixing frizz and adding volume. The shape of the brush allows for styling in all directions, so it’s easy to achieve the style you want without losing the shape of curls. If you’re just looking to brush your dry hair and head out the day after you style your hair, try the Miracle Protect and Miracle Shine brushes to detangle and soften your tresses. We were pleased with each of the brushes, as each provided us with the hair benefits we wanted for the day.

Get your own set of Andrew Barton brushes here or at your local ASDA store. The cost of each brush varies, but they are all under £10.

Green People - DD Cream -

We here at The Amazing Blog love applying makeup before we come to work, but sometimes we have a late start to our mornings and don’t have enough time for our usual routine. For these times, we love using multi-purpose products such as DD creams to conceal imperfections quickly. Our newest favourite is the DD cream from Green People.

When BB and CC creams first arrived on the beauty market, we were all over them. In the same way, Daily Defence (DD) creams have charmed our hearts, as they contain SPF and help to even out our skin tones. This particular DD cream from Green People is the first certified organic tinted moisturiser in the UK, plus it provides anti-ageing benefits.

The cream contains Sea Fennel stem cells, which work to brighten and renew the skin. We found this true when we tried it, since our tired and uneven skin instantly looked lifted and vibrant. The white container comes with an easy-to-use pump so you can dispense your desired amount of product with ease. It felt lightweight and clean on our skin, while still giving us the coverage we desired to look our absolute best.

Pick up your own Green People DD cream here for £34.95 to save time in the morning and look fabulous every day.

Magicstripes

Constantly keeping busy and staying on-the-go can take a toll on our bodies, but usually the first thing others notice is how tired our eyes look. We here at The Amazing Blog have discovered a beauty secret for perking up our eyes when they are in need. MAGICSTRIPES are our new best friends.

The first product of its kind on the European market, MAGICSTRIPES lift your eyelids and correct imperfections without expensive and risky surgeries. They are transparent, dermatologically tested as “excellent” and easy to apply. Simply peel off a couple of stripes and place them on the crease of your eyelid to achieve a fresh and radiant look.

The idea of MAGICSTRIPES was born when creator, Nathalie Franz, was on a trip to Tokyo. The women in Japan used a product to lift their eyelids because large, round eyes are a symbol of beauty in Asian culture. After trying this product, she was amazed by the effects and wanted to bring a similar product into the European market.

I am very impressed with the way this product lifts my eyes. I look and feel more awake. MAGICSTRIPES are an excellent confidence booster. I can go about my day knowing that I don’t look tired.

MAGICSTRIPES can be purchased in different sizes and quantities from Harvey Nichols here, where prices start at £18 for a pack of 64 stripes. The MAGICSTRIPES website also has video tutorials for applying the stripes that are helpful and worth checking out.
