Lip Balm Feature- Friday Favourites

After a long winter, our lips are in desperate need of some TLC. We at The Amazing Blog would love to present you with some of our favourite new options for hydrating lip care products.

Flying Wild shares the healing power of beehives with the world by producing organic beeswax based skincare from their small farm in Ballinderry, Ireland. We were given the opportunity to try the handmade Organic beeswax lip balm with raw Irish honey and rosemary, and we loved how natural and soothing it is. It contains deep moisturising grapeseed oil, protecting beeswax, healing raw Irish honey from their own beehives, refreshing rosemary, and anti-oxidising vitamin E—all of which keep our lips feeling renewed, hydrated, and protected. The creamy texture is lightweight and non-greasy, which means that it’s perfectly suited to wearing underneath other makeup products.

The Organic beeswax lip balm is available here for £3.99.

We recently raved about one of Lacrème Beauté’s bee venom products, but now we would like to introduce the organic rose lip balm. This luxuriously simple product nourishs and protects the lips from harmful UV rays with a blend of Organic Beeswax, organic coco butter, organic shea butter, almond oil, and essential oil of rose otto. The soft rose scent is quite soothing, and the light pink hue adds a slight sheen to brighten a dull complexion. The lightweight formula absorbs quickly so that you’re left with nourished lips all day long.

The new Tinted Luxe Balms from Rouge Bunny Rouge combines an ultra-hydrating lip treatment formula with just the right amount of color. It features a powerful active complex derived from sunflower oil designed volumise, smooth, and brighten the lips after four week of continued use. The paraben-free balm is smooth and non-sticky, and it is available in three beautiful hues.

The Rouge Bunny Rouge Tinted Luxe balm is available here for £22.74.

Skin Soul Drops - Rouge Bunny Rouge

Here at The Amazing Blog, we’re always on the hunt for new and innovative products. Lately we’ve been eyeing the craze over customisable foundations because they’re perfect for those of us who can’t find our exact shade or preferred coverage. Luckily, we've found that Rouge Bunny Rouge has recently launched a product called the Foundation Essence Skin Soul Drops.

This Foundation Essence has the texture of a serum but contains approximately 36% pigments so you can mix it with any moisturising or priming products to make a personalised foundation. This super-blendable fluid has a pore-minimising demi-matte finish that lasts all day! Rouge Bunny Rouge suggests mixing one drop with any base for a tinted moisturiser-like finish, and five drops for a concealer-like finish. We prefer using around 3-4 drops for a natural every day look. No matter how many drops you add, it still has a natural appearance due to the Jojoba, Mimosa, and Sunflower waxes that mimic skin texture. So far only three shades are available, but mixing them with coloured bases makes them easily adjustable to suit your skin tone. These drops are also perfect for lightening or darkening a foundation that you already have!

Concentrate for Dry Skin - Katherine Daniels

As our skin matures with us, sometimes we can find that its texture and needs change. We at The Amazing Blog, understand how difficult it can be to find products that effectively suit the needs of women with more mature skin. Thankfully we’ve just come across the Katherine Daniels Concentrate for Dry Skin!

This unique product is concentrated with Seaweed peptides to protect and defend against skin aging, along with Phytosqualane and Triglycerides to hydrate and nourish the skin. After use, your skin will feel much softer and plumper! Tests showed a reduction in the number of deep wrinkles of 62% after 28 days. We think the light texture of this moisturiser makes it perfect for both day and night time use. Plus, the smell is wonderfully soft and refreshing.

The Katherine Daniels Concentrate for Dry Skin is available here for £35.

Beauty Sleep Elixir - Beuti Skincare

It’s not often that we find products that can do it all. Here at The Amazing Blog, we love discovering miracle workers that are effective, easy to use, and good for the environment. So when Beuti Skincare’s Beauty Sleep Elixir came across our table, we all had to stop and try it out.

Beauty Sleep Elixir is a potent blend of 100% natural, 98% organic plant oils including: Camellia oil, Chia seed oil, Bitter cherry seed oil, Strawberry seed oil, Pomegranate seed oil, Blueberry seed oil, Cranberry seed oil, Sandalwood nut seed oil, Raspberry seed oil, Seabuckthorn fruit berry oil, Lavender herb oil, Geranium flower oil, Sandalwood oil, and Neroli flower oil. Interestingly, it also makes use of Caribbean coral, and ingredient that neutralizes enzymes responsible for skin aging, acne, and sunburn. This makes the Beauty Sleep Elixir a great product for fighting skin irritation and inflammation. The lightweight formula is rich, but sinks into the skin quickly with a velvety finish. We love the faint scent of lavender and sandalwood, which is quite soothing and relaxing.
