John Masters - Organics Body Scrub

The team here at The Amazing Blog have been ready for summer since Christmas ended, so we need to make sure our bodies are ready for the sunshine and parties ahead of us. After brushing up on our fitness, we needed to upgrade our beauty routine, so we turned to the body scrubs from John Masters Organics.

Since our skin will be revealed more than ever during the warmer months, we want to make sure it’s silky smooth and glowing. These body scrubs can be used once or twice a week to remove dead skin and reveal healthy, revived skin. Each scent – Fresh, Sweet and Relaxing – is designed to complement your mood, with proper ingredients corresponding to its name. All of the scrubs in the range are 100% organic and contain a moisturising base of coconut and shea butters and complementary essential oils.

At the office, our favourite scrub was Fresh, since its strong citrus aroma energised us and had us day dreaming about sipping cool drinks by the ocean. The size of the container made it easy to hold when we used it in the shower, and its travel-friendly container allows you to take it on-the-go with ease so you can have smooth silky skin wherever you are.

Dead Sea - Mineral Soaps

We here at The Amazing Blog believe that less truly is more, especially when it comes to skincare. Why load chemicals on your skin when you can use something that is nourishing and natural? Maliki Dead Sea Mineral Soaps understand how essential it can be to go back to basics, so their soaps will work wonders for you skin without having to use hundreds of products.

The products from this brand don’t leave your skin feeling tight or irritated after you use them, as they’re made from natural ingredients and are free from harsh chemicals and parabens that could cause a negative skin reaction. The bars of soap are affordable and can be used all over the body, rather than just on your face. If you suffer from eczema or psoriasis, you’ll find relief through the natural ingredients in these soaps.

At the office, we tried the Black Mud Mask soap and the Sulphur soap. Both had a unique scent, since they’re made without perfume, but instead simply smelled clean and fresh. The lather was fair and our skin felt smooth after using, without any burning or irritation.

You can purchase both of the soaps at Boots for £3.75 each.

Absolute Aromas - Relaxation Sea Salt Scrub

After a long day at the office, we here at The Amazing Blog love unwinding with a warm bath or shower. To make bathing a bit more luxurious, we love using a fragrant aromatherapy salt scrub on our skin to exfoliate and smooth our skin. Our new favourite scrub is the Relaxation Sea Salt Scrub from Absolute Aromas.

The brand was founded in 1994 by David Tomlinson with quality as the top objective for his products. Now the brand is one of the leading aromatherapy brands in the UK, known for their high-quality products that are crafted with care.

The Relaxation Sea Salt Scrub works to deeply cleanse by exfoliating skin all over the body, while essential oils moisturise long after the scrub has been washed off. The calming scent brings peace of mind after a stressful day – with Jojoba, Primrose and Almond Oils – as the gentle salt works to soften the body. We love how smooth our skin felt after using the scrub, and how it moisturised while getting rid of dead skin cells.

For silky smooth skin, pick up your own container of the scrub here for £15.50.

Sunescape Tanning Products

We here at The Amazing Blog love having sun-kissed skin. Since traditional tanning can increase your risk for skin cancer and premature ageing, we rely on self-tanning products to get the glowing skin we crave. That’s why we love the easy to use tanning products from Sunescape so we can rock a bronze skin tone all year round.

With their Hydrating Self-Tanning Mousse, you’ll get the glow you crave in only a few minutes. The colour is natural-looking and comes in two different shades designed to fit your skin tone, so you don’t need to worry about looking orange! It even hides cellulite and stretch marks while giving you colour, so this mousse will become your new beauty BFF. It contains macadamia, avocado and coconut oils, so your skin will stay smooth and conditioned.

For a long-lasting tan, reach for the Hydrating Gradual Tan Extender to build or prolong a flawless tan. It hydrates your skin with the same essential oils found in the Hydrating Mousse, but also contains added antioxidants to help rejuvenate and balance your skin. This product is better for ladies and gentlemen with fair skin looking to slowly build a tan, as it enables you to control the depth of colour you desire.

Head to the Sunescape website now and pick up the mousse for £24 and the tan extender lotion for £20, and soon everyone will be asking you where you went for holiday!

Environ RAD Sunscreen

We here at The Amazing Blog care deeply about proper skincare. One of the most important parts of taking care of your skin involves using an SPF regularly to protect your skin from harmful ultraviolent sun rays. For this reason, we love the RAD Antioxidant Sunscreen from Environ with SPF 15.

The sunscreen was launched in 1992 by Dr. Des Fernandes, a South African plastic surgeon. It enhances conventional sun protection by addressing sun rays that go beyond the standard UV-A and UV-B. It prevents sunburn and even helps to heal existing sunburns with essential vitamins C and E and other skin-soothing ingredients.

Unlike many normal sunscreens, this product contains antioxidant-rich vitamins that can reduce the impact of free radicals, which can damage DNA and destroy collagen and elastin. In turn, you’ll reduce your risk for prematurely aged skin, pigmentation and skin cancer, since the product doesn’t contain any ingredients that will trigger free racial damage once absorbed.

Our favourite part of the product was the clean scent and lightweight feel, since many sunscreens often feel too think and heavy. This one protects our skin and feels wonderful at the same time.

The RAD Antioxidant SPF 15 Sunscreen costs £19.95 and is available for beauty salon stockists nationwide. Head to to the Environ website and type in your address to find the stockist nearest you.
