Here at The Amazing Blog, we have tried everything from juice cleanses to vitamins to keep our bodies in tip-top shape. however, sometimes we forget about certain organs, that require specific care, such as the liver. The liver has many important functions in supporting the body including making bile, metabolising carbohydrates/proteins/fats, and filtering blood. With all of these crucial tasks at hand, it is essential that you keep your liver healthy. Our latest discovery is Anima Mundi where we found a selection of tasty products that help to make taking care of our liver easier than ever. The first product we suggest using is Anima Mundi’s Liver Vitality Daily Jungle Greens. This is a green powder that can be added to any of your favourite beverages. This powder formula is a chockfull of natural vitamins, minerals, amino acids, antioxidants, and many other nutrients that all help to detoxify your liver and gallbladder. The product contains Dandelion Root, Burdock, Moringa, Chlorella, Spirulina, Graviola, Chanca Piedra, Turmeric, and Milk Thistle and is both gluten-free and vegan. We like to use this product when we make green smoothies in the morning for an added vitamin boost at breakfast. 

The second product we suggest is Anima Mundi’s Chanca Piedra which is a tonic that is used to treat kidney and gallbladder stones. If you are keeping up on The Amazing Blog you will know how much we rate Michelle Roques-O’Neil’s Therapie aromatherapy products. We were lucky to have used their Restore Aura Spray as well as their Himalayan Detox Bath Salts and Cherish Skin Repair Body Serum in the past. Always being busy and on-the-go we know how important it is to relax at the end of the day – but we also know it can be hard to unwind sometimes. That’s why we wanted to review the Therapie Inner Light Sleep Drops today, which have helped us get a much deeper and more blissful sleep.

If you are anything like us at The Amazing Blog you are always looking for products to use on your hair for optimal care without a lot of chemicals. On our search for natural hair products, we stumbled across Salon Science, an innovative haircare collection which uses plant stem-cell technology. Who likes dry skin? Not us! We boys here at The Amazing Blog understand the importance of keeping skin moisturised at all times.  Thanks to our friends at Triumph & Disaster we have found this a real 'game changer' in the moisturiser world. There is a great story behind this brand with its sporting roots. Triumph & Disaster was founded in 2011 by Dion Nash, a former New Zealand international cricketer, who realised the toll sun, wind and sweat were having on his skin. This inspired Dion to create a naturally based skincare brand specifically for us boys, which not only protects our complexions from the environment but also utilises the latest technologies in green science. Previously we tried out Triumph & Disaster’s No Dice Sunscreen, and this product set the bar high for the rest of their products.

We are happy to report that Triumph & Disaster has done it again, and lived up to our expectations. We requested their latest Beauty Shortlist 2018 award-winning ‘Gameface’  Moisturiser to try. Three of the star ingredients in this moisturiser are ponga fern, horopito oil and jojoba extract. Ponga is fern found in New Zealand, it works to tighten skin making us look younger upon application to the face. Horopito is an antioxidant-rich plant that is also from New Zealand which conditions skin and leaves it with a healthy-looking appearance. Jojoba is a botanical extract that comes from the seed of the jojoba tree which is very similar to the oil that our skin naturally produces. This helps to balance your skin's oil production creating a more balanced skin.
