Eden Organic Care - Avocado Oil

NEW BLOG IMAGEAs you already know here at The Amazing Blog we are always looking out for quality natural oils as these are the best for our skin and hair, and as everything about this Eden Organic Care  Avocado Oil  is healthy and organic, we love using it. The oil is produced from cold pressing the avocado fruits and collecting the unrefined oil, the product is completely natural, containing only 100% pure and organic avocado oil so you can be sure that there are no extra chemicals involved. Avocado oil is rich in amino acids that prompt the production of collagen and fatty acids which are nourishing. Sterolins, which can reduce sun spots and also vitamins A, D and E which help soothe dry or itchy patches and maintains healthy skin.

These natural, nourishing properties make the oil ideal for hydrating split ends and damaged hair, treating scalp conditions like dandruff and reducing wrinkles by enriching the skin and smoothing its appearance. The oil is absorbed by the skin quickly, so there is no greasy layer left on the skin, instead it feels softer and looks healthier after just one application.

We have also been able to use the Rosehip Oil which works to repair skin cells, improve blemishes such as acne and stretch marks, hydrate dry skin and improve its elasticity. Rosehip Oil is a very good alternative for those who have sensitive skin. Like the Avocado Oil, this product is 100% organic pure rosehip oil, a little goes a very long way. I recommend using two or three drops and massaging it into the skin in small circular motions, the oils are lightweight and non-greasy, so they will absorb into the skin quickly without the nasty residue left behind. Make sure you always have clean hands though, you don't want to be rubbing dirty oil into your skin.

The products come in a 100ml bottle with a pump to distribute the oil without the risk of spillage or waste. If you want to try these fantastic oils yourself then visit the Eden Organic Care website where you can purchase the Avocado Oil for £14.99 and the Rosehip Oil for £16.99.

Eve of St.Agnes Facial Silk

BLOG image

Hyaluronic Acid is cropping up in more products on the market every day, and here at The Amazing Blog, we are incredibly pleased about this. Hyaluronic Acid is an anti-aging ingredient that can provoke wonderful results when used regularly because it helps to plump the skin and smooth fine lines and wrinkles. Eve of St. Agnes is a skincare brand that we know very well, and they have recently created their ‘Revive and Renew’ range that includes a face moisturiser called Hydrating Face Silk. We were able to sample this product here at the office and in unison decided it is absolutely a must-have.

The Eve of St. Agnes Hydrating Facial Silk is really a cornucopia of fabulous ingredients that, when working together, create a hardworking anti-aging cream. Hyaluronic Acid is really the ‘hero’ ingredient of this product, working to plump the skin and smooth fine lines. Panax Ginseng, which is also present, works to stimulate collagen reproduction in the skin, and Vitamin A, B, E, and K work to restructure skin. Olive Leaf Extract is in the formula and works by smoothing the overall skin appearance. The scent is fabulous, as it’s a mixture of essential oils like Frangipani, Champaca, Blood Orange, and Ylang-Ylang. It feels wonderful on the skin as well, very cool and moisturising. The Hydrating Facial Silk is suitable for all skin types, even very sensitive skin, so it’s a universally friendly product. You will want to apply this in the morning and night, and it works best in conjunction with the other products in the ‘Revive and Renew’ range from Eve of St. Agnes.

If you are searching for a new anti-aging hero cream, Eve of St. Agnes ‘Hydrating Facial Silk’ is sure to please. To find out more about the Hydrating Facial Silk, which retails at £28 for a full size jar, visit the Eve of St. Agnes website.

REAMIN Hand Protective Cream

reamin blog image If there is one product that we cannot get enough of here at The Amazing Blog office, it is hand cream. Currently, we have four sitting on the desk, and any one is reached for multiple times a day. Although we seem to have endless amounts, we are always on the search for more. We recently came across a brand called REAMIN, which has developed a range of hand creams formulated for salon professionals, but is equally fantastic for everyone. We were lucky enough to sample their original and unscented formulas here at The Amazing Blog, and they have been sitting at our desks being happily used ever since as we love the formula.

REAMIN was specially developed to create an invisible shield for those who have their hands in water or wet substances frequently. It protects the skin and nails from the damage of prolonged water exposure due to the beeswax in the formula. People who work in these conditions are also exposed to many chemicals that can cause contact dermatitis. Dermatitis is essentially a skin rash, commonly known as Eczema. REAMIN is a wonderful solution for people who suffer from dermatitis, as the lotion provides the protective barrier that their skin needs. For salon professionals, not only will REAMIN protect your hands, but it is also safe to use as a perm barrier cream for clients. The Original formula smells lovely, almost like honey, and feels incredible. We absolutely love it here at the office. When you first apply, do not be alarmed by the stickiness. It absorbs quickly and then feels like silk on the hands.

If you would like more information about REAMIN and its benefits for the skin, visit their website. There you will also find links to where to purchase for individual retail and to stock in a salon. The bottles are very big and will last a long time, perfect for any household kitchen, or hairdresser’s station. Prices start from £3.60 plus VAT for a 75ml bottle.
