Luxsit Organic Care - Enrich Hydrating Facial Mist

blog imageHere at The Amazing Blog, we truly love natural, organic brands. So when we heard about Luxsit Organic Care, we couldn't wait to get our hands on their popular products. The Stockholm based luxury brand were kind enough to send us a selection from their range, including the Enrich Hydrating Facial Mist. Thanks to this refreshing and nourishing toner, we've been spritzing our way to more hydrated skin ever since.

All of the Luxsit products use carefully selected plant extracts and traditional medicine to deliver a great range of environmentally friendly products, which do wonders for even the most sensitive of skin types. Offering five series' of products, from Caring to Revitalizing, there's surely something to satisfy everyone’s needs. Having tried our fair share of skincare, we all knew what a great product we'd found in the Hydrating Facial Mist. Part of the Enrich series, the light spray is designed with dry skin in mind. Birch tree sap and cucumber extract contribute to the refreshing mist, which is so fine that I felt more than comfortable spritzing it on over make-up. The spray helped to plump up my skin, reducing fine lines at the same time as giving me a really dewy glow. Although it can be used as part of your cleansing routine, it has found itself a home in my handbag, as it's the perfect product for providing an instant boost on the go!

All of the Luxsit Organic Care products are certified by NaTrue, to help you stay beautiful with a clear conscience. You can find the Luxsit Enrich Hydrating Facial Mist here for £26.50.

Docteur Renaud - Mango Hand and Nail Repair Cream

blog imageFrench pharmacies are known for stocking the crème de la crème of skincare. We long for those Parisian breaks, when we can spend our days perusing the beauty aisles of various boutiques. However, jetting across the channel every time you need a new cleanser isn’t exactly economically sound. So when a little bit of France made its way to The Amazing Blog in the form of Docteur Renaud’s Mango Hand And Nail Repair Cream, we were très excited to try it out.

The French brand combines a love of cosmetics with a love of plants, basing all of their products around a particular type of fruit. The Mango Hand and Nail Repair Cream is part of the Peach & Grapefruit body range, which offers a collection of other delectable sounding products. The first and most distinctive aspect of the product is its divine scent. Sweet mango butter is the main ingredient, making for perhaps the most delicious smelling hand cream we've ever tried. The rich and creamy emulsion, which also contains shea butter and vegetable waxes from jojoba, mimosa and sunflower, glides onto my hands and provides fantastic nourishment, making them feel so soft and soothed. Not only that, the moisture seals itself in all day long to provide long lasting hydration. The cream also works to strengthen nails and soften cuticles, making it the only product you'll need to keep your hands looking gorgeous and smelling good enough to eat.

Despite its French origins, the Docteur Renaud product has the scent that transports us to a tropical paradise. The Mango Hand and Nail Repair Cream is available to buy here for £13.30.

Time Bomb - Complexion Cocktail

blog imageWe all like a drink at the end of a long day, but did you ever consider that your skin may feel the same way? The skin savvy people at Time Bomb certainly did, and they were kind enough to send The Amazing Blog their Complexion Cocktail to try, so that we could give our skin the drink it deserved. A liquid lotion containing a shot of chlorophyll, we weren’t sure whether to drink it or apply it to our faces. However, after a bit of research, we were well on our way to a beautifully clear complexion.

Designed to soothe stressed skin, the Complexion Cocktail has a wonderfully thick, lotion-like consistency. With only the tiniest amount needed on a cotton pad, it glides on to revive and refresh your skin after a long, tiring day. Although it doesn't give specific instructions for use, I found that the product worked best as an exfoliating toner. It feels so rich when applied, and left me with a glowing visage. As you would expect, it has an incredible scent. An uplifting blend of apple and mint, this potent cocktail smells as fresh as it leaves your skin feeling. Concocted with the perfect blend of ingredients, including a splash of centella to improve skin tone, and a dash of ginseng for added freshness, it’s made my previously dull skin feel like the life of the party.

The talented Time Bomb mixologists are really on to a delicious recipe with their Complexion Cocktail. It’s available to buy here for £24, so drink up! It’s good for you!

Crabtree & Evelyn - Ultra-Moisturising Hand Therapy

blog imageWorking in an office environment often has a very drying effect on the skin. As a result, we here at The Amazing Blog always have a huge array of hand creams on the go. So many, in fact, that we consider ourselves experts on the subject. So when the lovely people at Crabtree & Evelyn sent us a tube of their Lavender Ultra-Moisturising Hand Therapy, we knew what a great product we had on our hands! An intensely nourishing and rich treatment scented with soothing lavender oil, we’re really coveting this conditioning cream.

Containing ingredients such as shea butter and macadamia nut oil, the hand therapy feels really calming on the skin, and sinks in really quickly, leaving no trace of a sticky residue, despite its rich consistency. The addition of myrrh helps to condition nails and cuticles, which is essential for nail polish addicts like us. It's the perfect precursor to any manicure, and makes a great pairing with the Crabtree & Evelyn Nail Lacquers, which you can read about here. A little goes a long way with this product; only a small amount massaged into my slightly chapped hands left them feeling blissfully soothed, soft and moisturised. Fragranced with English Lavender, the cream offers a subtle, soothing aroma at the perfect potency, helping to calm both our skin and our senses. The intensely nourishing product keeps our hands happy and hydrated all day long, and has made itself a staple on our cream laden desks.

A 100ml tube of the Lavender Hand Therapy is available to buy here for £15, along with the whole beautiful Crabtree & Evelyn range. They have a great variety of fragrances to choose from, but we have to say, we’re in love with lavender.

Lavera - Organic Self-Tanning Face Cream

blog imageWith such unpredictable weather at the moment, the girls here at The Amazing Blog have been relying on self tanning products, to get that sun-kissed healthy glow. We all have our favourite self-tanning body mousses or lotions, which we have been applying religiously, but searching for a great self-tanning product for the face can be a little trickier. You can't cover up a streaky face with a kaftan after all. Luckily we have discovered Lavera’s Organic Self -Tanning Face Cream to give our faces an even, bronzed glow.

This vegan friendly lotion is long lasting and moisturises the skin while providing a natural, light tan. With organic ingredients, like high quality macadamia oil and sunflower oil, Lavera is the ideal self-tanning facial cream. Like most self-tanning lotions, when applying it, keep it away from the hair line as well as the eyebrows to prevent colour build up. Also, washing hands immediately after application is a must to avoid staining. Though the tint takes about five hours to develop, the colour lasts for about two weeks. I have found applying Lavera two times a week yields for the most natural and even shade of colour.

Lavera is the ideal product to complete your self-tanning regime, with easy application, getting a naturally golden colour has never been easier.  Purchase Lavera's Organic Self-Tanning Face Cream for £10.90 here to achieve that sun-kissed summer glow we all long for.
