Oriflame - Ecollogen Foaming Gel Wash & Skin Perfecting Toner

If paradise had a smell, it would most certainly be Oriflame Ecollagen Foaming Gel Wash and Skin Perfecting Toner. As soon as us girls at The Amazing Blog opened the bottles, it was almost a scuffle! With a light, yet stimulating floral scent, we could not wait to wash our faces with the foaming gel wash and use the skin perfecting toner.

After fighting our way to the loo, good naturedly of course, we were able to try out these great products. The foaming gel wash comes out of the conveniently locking pump in a clear gel and foams up well for the face. When washed off, it leaves your face feeling smooth and refreshed. The toner goes on with a cotton pad and leaves the face feeling further refreshed and soft as feathers. One of the greatest things about this toner was that it did not leave the face feeling dry at all. This is a well balanced skin care duo and the scent alone makes the line worth checking out.

Don't Bite Me! Patch

With the beautiful weather of summer comes the dreaded time of mosquitos. At The Amazing Blog, we have a pretty dim relationship with bugs. That is why we were glad to find the Don’t Bite Me! all natural patches. This summer, us girls over at The Amazing Blog will no longer be slathering ourselves with smelly bug lotions or sprays; we will just slap on this clear, waterproof patch and go on about our days.

The Don’t Bite Me! patch has only 2 ingredients: Aloe and Vitamin B1. When the Vitamin B is metabolized in the body, it reduces the odours that attract bugs. They say that the eyes are the windows to the soul... We here at The Amazing Blog like to keep those windows shining and wrinkle free for the neighbours! While looking for a proper eye cream to keep our peepers fresh, we were lucky to find Queen Cosmetics Eye Restore Cream.

Queen Cosmetics was started by 3 dermatologists in the 1920’s to address the lack of hypoallergenic products for women with sensitive skin. This company has the know how to create a product that can solve skin problems, rather than exacerbate them. Since its start, the company has not turned their backs on products for sensitive skin, have also embraced environment friendly practices and kept their local ties to the community. Although the products themselves are not natural or organic, we did find that they are made with care and feel good on our sensitive skin.

We like that the eye cream is very light but at the same time silky and moisturizing to the eye area, it is unscented and absorbs into the skin almost instantly. It is supposed to be used twice a day to ensure the best wrinkle reducing and de-puffing effects. We felt that the gel-like cream was just the right formulation to be used twice daily on our sensitive eye area without any irritation.

SKN-RG PRO - Eye Reviver Brightener & Revitalise Serum

We’ve said it before, and we’ll say it again: all of us at The Amazing Blog are passionate about bee welfare. And having had the pleasure of sampling SKN-RG before, we know that they share our enthusiasm. With direction from Chinese medicine and Buddhist teachings, the brand focuses on apiary cultivation when harvesting ingredients for their products. The Sknrg PRO range features five corrective serums, each designed to target a different concern. Of the five, we were given the chance to try the Eye Reviver Brightener and RevitaliseAge Defy Serum, and we were really impressed with the results. Presented in innovative syringe style packaging, both products contain Hyaluronic Acid, fantastic for plumping and hydrating our skin. As well as this, the Eye Brightener is filled with specially selected bee hive products that work to repair damaged tissue. Its gel-like texture had a superb cooling effect, leaving me feeling fresh and rejuvenated. The Revitalise Serum includes natural peptides, helping to reduce wrinkles and fine lines, as well as Sea Kelp Extract and Black Tea Ferment to prolong our new youthful glow. The serum goes on quite thick, but blends to a soft, silky finish, making it a great base for make-up.
