Pulpe De Vie Tickle Me! Body Scrubbing Butter

Here at The Amazing Blog, we like to get rid of the dead weight...of dead skin cells that is! Smooth skin is something that we are all on the look out for so that is why when we got our hands on the Pulpe De Vie Tickle Me! Body Scrubbing Butter we were very excited.

This sweet smelling scrubbing butter is made with 99% natural ingredients. We like that the scent of the scrub is not overpowering, but still smells fresh and lightly fruity after it is applied to the skin. It also features amazing organic tomato and blackcurrant waters from the South of France that impart antioxidants into your skin with each use. The apricot kernel powder gently exfoliates and smoothes skin from top to toe, and this certified organic scrub is also safe to use for our sensitive sisters (or brothers) and is free of parabens, silicons, and GMO’s! Simply smooth on wet skin in the shower, let the apricot kernel powder scrub away your dead cells and rinse. After the shower, marvel at your newly soft skin and apply a moisturizing lotion.

Pulpe De Vie Tickle Me! Body Scrubbing Butter is available for purchase through Absolutely Devine  for £14.00 here.

Audaca Scrub and Hydrate

blogAt The Amazing Blog the girls are always getting samples of new face washes, soaps, and moisturisers to try. Finally I got my turn to try a new face scrub and moisturiser for myself. After looking up some different brands and getting the girls opinions, I decided to go for Audaca, who just recently launched a premium natural skincare collection specifically for men. I am still on the look for that perfect face wash that I can start using on a daily basis - maybe Audaca is the one for me?

Being as laid back as I am, I have never really thought to wash my face daily with a face wash, I just use a simple dove soap bar on occasion. Trying Audaca and their two different products, Scrub and Hydrate, really changed the way my face felt and looked after using them. Squirting a small amount of the creamy facial exfoliant I noticed the small bits of volcanic pumice and walnut shells that were there to remove dead skin and impurities. I started to use the Scrub while I was in the shower, instead of the plain soap bar that I usually use.  After getting out, I would use the Hydrate cream to moisturise my face before leaving my house to get to work. The Hydrate cream had a mixture of essential oils, vitamin E, and jojoba seed oil all blended in together to form a creamy but light lotion. The Scrub and Hydrate are not only good for a daily facial cleanser, but also for the days that I decided to shave. What I really enjoyed about Audaca Face Scrub was the closer and smoother shave that it provided me. Before shaving I would use the Audaca Scrub to exfoliate my face to lift trapped hairs that my razor wouldn’t normally get. After shaving, I used the Audaca Hydrate moisturiser that left my skin feeling refreshed and ready to go!

Finally, I understand why the girls have all their different facial scrubs and moisturisers instead of just using a plain bar of soap. Audaca Scrub and Hydrate made my daily facial cleansing routine different in a good way. Audaca did the trick with their Scrub and Hydrate to get me up on my toes to start the day off, feeling fresh and clean!  For a reasonable price, you can buy Audaca Scrub and Hydrate online for £14 each that include a 100ml flexi tube.

A Bit of Rough

There is nothing as satisfying after a week of hard work than a good pampering session - something that I always look forward to every Sunday. I prepare my bath with the best smelling essential oils, apply a purifying face mask, use a clarifying shampoo and a deep repairing mask, exfoliate my skin, do my nails... the usual. However, I've recently added a new product to my routine which has replaced my beloved salt and sugar body scrub - A Bit of Rough exfoliating wash cloths have helped me achieving perfectly polished skin, saving a few pennies as no exfoliating creams are needed at all. At The Amazing Blog we think these cloths should be part of every pampering session lover's routine. A Bit of Rough cloths are made of a mix of fibres that are gentle enough to use on our face and effective enough to exfoliate our whole body. These exfoliating cloths get rid of dead skin cells leaving your skin appearing brighter and feeling so much softer - just use your favourite shower cream or face cleanser of choice, and after lathering it, remove the excess product and polish the skin with A Bit of Rough.

These cloths have many uses too; if you're on holiday, use them to get rid of dry skin patches to get a perfect and even tan. And if you see that your fake tan is fading or getting patchy and want to clear it completely, pop some baby oil on the cloth and give your skin a good scrub lathering up afterwards some shower cream, and you'll be good to go. A Bit of Rough exfoliating cloths are machine washable, so pop them into the washing machine with the rest of your laundry after every use. At The Amazing Blog, we can't believe how easy these cloths are to use and to clean!

A Bit of Rough can be purchased from their website - each exfoliating wash cloth is £8.00 and will be posted first class. Postage charge is £2.00 per oder for all UK orders. Buy 3 cloths and only pay for 2, £16.00. For delivery charges outside the UK email A Bit of Rough.
