English Wine Tasting Tours

Here at The Amazing Blog, we love a nice glass of wine at the end of the week, but as the Christmas season is upon us, we felt it was appropriate to kick it up a notch in the tipple department. English Wine Tasting Tours makes the perfect gift for a loved one who appreciates a good grape. And with next year’s tours starting in May, it’s sure to give them something to look forward to when those post-Christmas blues inevitably set in.

We all have someone near and dear who probably considers themselves a bit of a wine connoisseur, so why not treat them to a tour next year, where they can opt for a jaunt in either the Kent or Sussex countryside. They’ll be able to taste some delicious, authentic English wines and ciders whilst eating gastronomic treats, away from the city smog and traffic, on a unique and authentic day out that I’m sure they’ll wish to repeat every single year.

Leaving from London Bridge, the Kent tasting tour has two main stops: the Hush Heath Estate, producer of the Balfour Brut Rose’ and the Chapel Down Winery, which specialises in sparkling wines and Curious beers & cider, much appreciated by the likes of Gordon Ramsey and Jamie Oliver. With 18 different wine and cider samples to sip on, and a pitstop at the Goudhurst Inn for a tasty lunch and a selection of English cheeses, they’ll feel spoilt rotten.  Of course, no two grapes are the same, so they may prefer to taste what Sussex has to offer. The Sussex tour journeys to the Bolney Estate vineyard, famous for it’s environmentally friendly ethos, where not only great grapes are welcome but even butterflies, rabbits and dragonflies. Not too far from Bolney, they will get to know the Bluebell Vineyard and its love for traditional English sparkling wines as well as tasting delicious hand harvested grapes, nurtured with as little herbicide as possible. The day finishes in a nice gastro pub for a hearty meal that perfectly pairs with a newfound favourite wine. As an added perk, English Wine Tasting Tours offer a 10% discount to customers, so they can grab a bottle of the best wine England has to offer for a little less.

Heathcote & Ivory - Rainforest Collection

Here at The Amazing Blog we’ve just found out how to defeat fatigue and bad mood caused from cold and rainy days. We save a moment every evening to immerge in the fantastic world of Heathcote&Ivory Rainforest Collection.

Imagine an exotic garden, appealing scents and natural essential oils, all available in a box. This is what Heathcote&Ivory offers with their Bath Flowers.  A collection multicolour flowers which reminds us of sugar decorations for cakes! You’ll need to soak few of the petals in warm water and they’ll reveal perfumes of pink grapefruit, jasmine, bergamot and orange.

Relaxing and calming, they do not contain no parabens or sulfates that means they’ll be gentle on your skin. Once you get out of your paradise bath tub, indulge a little bit longer in this tropical cloud of colour and flowers with the Hydrating Body Cream.
Add a touch of lemon, lily and amber to your daily treatment, soothing your body skin with two of the best allies you can have: Vitam E and Shea butter.  We personally love the texture of this lotion, so rich and dense but not greasy at all!

Every bathing moment should be special and we’re convinced that using products that can transform yours in an exotic escape doesn’t have price so let’s fly for free to Caraibi with bath flowers here for only £10 and hydrating body cream here at £9.

Sugar StripEase

Hair removal is a chore most women face, and an often painful one at that. Here at the Amazing Blog, we want to make it a more pleasant experience. Thanks to Sugar StripEase, we no longer have to damage our skin with the use of razors or hot wax, they have brought sugaring back!

Sugaring is an ancient art of hair removal, dating all the way back to Ancient Egyptians believe it or not. Sugar StripEase is a quick and easy option that is 100% natural, you are therefore able to use it on any part of the body. The paste is simply made up of sugar syrup and water, it adheres only to the hairs rather than to the skin too, making it far less painful than waxing. That’s what we like to hear! If you get cold feet once the paste is on, have no fear, it washes off with a little soap and water.

We decided it was time for our first sugaring experience. The paste glided smoothly onto the skin, and it was extremely effective at removing all the hairs, although not totally pain-free. What we loved the most is the elimination of the ingrown hairs! The skin doesn’t get damaged, therefore the hairs can regrow in their natural direction.

The whole set comes with a Soothing Mist and Pure Fine Talc, these products keep your skin soothed and soft. The mist contains witch hazel and bergamot which calms and disinfects the skin. The use of talc then softens and dries the skin without dehydrating it. These three products are a match made in Sugaring Heaven. Have a pleasant hair removal experience by getting your own here for £19.99.

Kiss The Moon - Dream after Dark Balm

At The Amazing Blog we find it hard to turn off our working minds and get a good night sleep. We always seem to wake groggy and reluctant for the day ahead.  We have tried everything and nothing has helped us achieve our beauty sleep, that was before we found Dream After Dark Balm from Kiss The Moon.

Forget pills and infusions of weird and unpronounceable herbs, all you need to relax your senses and finally get the fairy-tale sleep is this little black jar.
The balm contains a mix of oils blended with shea butter which gives it a smooth and creamy texture; gently rub it onto your temples and wrists to activate the calming effect of lavender, bergamot, roman camomile and cedarwood .
We couldn’t help and had to try it, even if it was in the morning! How to describe the feeling of the peace and relaxation we felt afterwards?
We didn’t fall asleep but the balm increased our productivity, because when your mind is relaxed everything comes naturally and easy. Having a little sniff now and then at our wrists, it only helped us to pull out amazing ideas; it smells so good and we think its great power comes from its natural ingredients.
If you’d like to extend the After Dark Sleep balm effects bring it with you everywhere as it comes in a practical 12ml size, or get the bath oil from the same range.

The balm is available at £16 here where you can have a look at the entire collection. Be a Sleeping Beauty for once and cuddle yourself with the best night sleep you’ve ever had.

Dear Barber

Vanity Fair is not only a place for women but it also welcomes men. Here at The Amazing Blog we know that very well and that’s why we want to present you with the hair and beard range from Dear Barber. From tip to toes it will take care of you with classy scents and high quality products.

If you’re one of those who thinks it’s all about hair or nothing, prepare yourself for an incredible range of cream and pomades that will help you sculpting, shaping and controlling.
Humidity has never been friendly with curly hair, so if this is your main concern put your head in the safe hands of Pomade. It’s a gel that works as a cover and protect your curls, avoiding frizzy hair. Despite other products with the same texture, Dear Barber created a gel that won’t make your hair feel heavy at all and they’ll look naturally neat and shining.

The Shaping Cream is what you’re looking for if you need hold but with a smooth and flexible final touch. This cream is simply stunning, once on your hair it disappears and doesn’t leave any trace of the product.

For those who love more definition Dear Barber presents Fibre and Mattifier. They both have a waxy texture and are ideal for deconstructed styles but, where Fibre is more for an elastic sculpting result, the Mattifier will shape and hold the boldest styles.

Hair is very important but a beard and moustache are the business card of your face. And Dear Barber couldn’t let them down. That’s why we can gladly tell you something more about the Shave Oil, Beard Oil and Moustache Wax. The oils will protect your skin, preparing the beard for shaving and giving a final sheen touch, while the wax will guarantee perfect hold and shape whatever is your moustache style.

The entire range has a vague retro style and so does the Gentlemen’s Fragrance with its vintage but contemporary twist.  This is the perfect hair and beard care for you or your partner this Christmas. Go buy yours here at Dennis Williams for £45.95.
