Luxury Lipsticks – Rodin

Linda Rodin, the founder of Rodin Olio Lusso, once said that “I feel a bit naked without lipstick” and at The Amazing Blog we agree with her 100%! That’s why we wanted to share with you a little about the new Rodin Luxury Lipsticks range.

Recently launched, the Luxury Lipsticks are available in 5 unique shades, one for each occasion: the Tough Tomato, Red Hedy, So Mod, Billie on the Bike and Winks. They are based on the signature oil of the brand, Olio Lusso, and blended with Rose and Lavender Flower, Vitamins C and E known for their nourishing and healing properties and Apricot, Argan and Meadowflower oils that leave a very pleasant flavour on your lips. Our favourite summer shade is the Winks, a pretty and bright pink that is perfect on tanned skin and that can be used both day and night! We particularly like its creamy texture and the shiny finish that will gradually turn matte during the day and will reveal a lovely hot pink pigment. Lily of the Valley Bathing Flowers – Heathcote & Ivory

Having a bad day? Need to relax? After a long day at work the best way to relax is to treat yourself. We at the Amazing Blog think that personal wellbeing is of the utmost importance, which is why we were very happy when we had the chance to try the Lily of the Valley bathing flowers by Heathcote & Ivory.

It’s no secret that we at The Amazing Blog have certainly been wooed by the French-made brand, Nuxe. So naturally, we couldn’t resist testing their new products, launched specially for this summer: the Prodigieux Body Lotion and the Moisturising Protective Milky Oil for Hair.

We already wrote reviews for their products, Prodigieux Le Parfum and the Dry Oil (find them here), and decided to complete the set with another product derived from this range: the Beautifying Scented Body Lotion. Here at The Amazing Blog, once it gets to 3pm we often find ourselves reaching for a snack. However, we also want to maintain our healthy lifestyle goals. Royal Horticultural Society’s Hampton Court Palace Flower Show

Here at The Amazing Blog, we cherish the summer time. Despite the questionable weather in London as of late, summer has indeed begun and with it comes a myriad of wonderful outdoor events!

From 5th to 10th July, the Royal Horticultural Society’s Hampton Court Palace Flower Show will once again attract over 130,000 people across five days of floral displays, shopping opportunities, expert talks and family activities. This event is the largest annual flower show in the world and features elaborate Show Gardens of English and exotic plants and flowers, as well as a special Butterfly Dome where show-goers can marvel at thousands of butterflies in a tropical garden. So whether you are looking for gardening inspiration, the latest in garden supplies, plants and flowers or if you just want to get the family out for a day in the sunshine, the Hampton Court Palace Flower Show is sure to please.
