EliRose Skincare - Nourishing Organic Serum

As regular readers will know, we at The Amazing Blog team are particularly careful about the skincare products that we use, always erring on the side caution. Very happily, we recently discovered a new skincare launch:  EliRose Skincare, a luxurious British brand that is certified organic, vegan, and cruelty-free. Their niche area is to cater to those who suffer from excessively dry skin, eczema, and acne. The Canadian founder Claudia Bussieres wanted to find an 100% organic product, but felt deceived by so many products’ labels. Claudia commented it appeared that 'natural' beauty companies all prioritised product longevity, shelf life, and regulation for cash flow as being more important than the side effects. As a solution, she worked with a team of chemists for over six year, developing her first product the Nourishing Organic Serum, and the start of creating a line of skincare with trusted ingredients.

Since some members of our team have sensitive skin and eczema, they were thrilled to try EliRose’s Nourishing Organic Serum with the hope they would experience some relief. The lovely floral fragrance immediately caught our attention. The serum is loaded with beautiful organic oils, such as Bulgarian rose otto oil, evening primrose oil, jojoba oil, sunflower seed oil, pomegranate seed oil, jasmine essential oil, geranium leaf oil, and rosehip seed oil. Combining these oils has a balancing effect, which helps to maintain moisture, prevent hormonal acne, and increase collagen production. Gourmet Chocolate Pizza Company

The best part of our day is treating ourselves to something sweet – especially if it happens to be confectionery! We’re not ashamed to admit our penchant for all things chocolate - after all they say 'a little bit of what you fancy, does you good'. The Gourmet Chocolate Pizza Company sent us their Strawberry Sensation, a delicious pop of fruit flavour on a creamy base. As we devoured the slices, the chocolate melted and the fizzing popping candy awakening our taste buds! The Strawberry Sensation is made from smooth Belgian milk chocolate, topped with chocolate curls, freeze-dried strawberries and white chocolate rice balls. The Danes appear to have it all, don’t you think? Tall, handsome, erudite and always it would appear with the perfect complexion … could they be hiding the elixir of beauty amongst their glorious fjords? Well, perhaps not so much hiding it, because fortunately for us at The Amazing Blog there’s a whole host of goodies for both us boys and girls, care of O.Moi. The face behind this delicious brand is Kristèle Sun, originally from Mauritius where her passion for skincare was ignited and she is now based in Denmark. 'Fresh' is certainly what this product is all about, as this incredible lightweight Fresh Kick Cooling Cream will testify to. Alongside a thoroughly holistic approach, they have no parabens, silicones, mineral oils or synthetic fragrances. It literally feels like applying the cleanest air to your face, which after slaughtering one’s beard with the razor, is a jolly welcome relief. The scent is light and full of zesty lemon, rosemary and a hint of peppermint oil. However, it is the incredibly soothing sensation, which immediately calmed my razor burn as I complete my regime and won me over. It contains hemp oil which has similar molecular structure as the fats in our skin, this also means it absorbs quickly giving no greasy residue. Plus the vitamins A and E which gives protection to the skin against the first signs of ageing and the damaging effects of free radicals.  This Fresh Kick Cooling made my skin feel as soft as a baby's bottom! Go! Organic Festival

The Amazing Blog can't wait to attend this new Go! Organic Festival which is on this weekend, 8th & 9th September in Battersea Park. As always, we’re passionate about promoting those who create products that help to support our environment and urge us to lead a healthier lifestyle! 
 

Go! Organic is a Brighton-based event company that aims to inspire people to adopt a natural and healthy lifestyle. They hope to educate all attendees on organic food and drink and have even invited local farmers to speak about their organic produce. The event will have music and entertainment, workshops and activities for both adults and children.

The marketplace hosts the best-certified food, drink, clothing, beauty and lifestyle brands with an anticipated 15,000 visitors in attendance.
