Superberry Serum by Scienea

Superberry and Serum are two words we at The Amazing Blog love, so Scienea’s new Superberry Repair and Restore Face Serum rocketed to the top of our must wish list. We're always interested in brands like Scienea who are passionate about using only the finest natural ingredients to create great products that work. Even better if like Scienea, their products are manufactured in the UK and are clinically tested (but not on animals).

The Superberry Serum was full as skin nutrition as we thought it would be. It contains eleven clinically proven natural ingredients which helped to improve our skin’s elasticity as well as smooth out wrinkles and fine lines. It is also anti-inflammatory and deeply penetrating boosting the skin's natural defences. The Superberry Serum contains acai berry, blackberry extract and primrose oil, so it is packed full of anti-oxidants. This means that not only will it smooth out wrinkles, but it will also make skin appear brighter and more hydrated. All of which make this mighty little bottle a winner in our eyes.

Korres- Anti-Wrinkle and Firming Day/Night Cream

The Amazing Blog is a big fan of the brand Korres, and we have reviewed them multiple times in the past. We love them for two reasons; firstly they are inspired by homeopathy and its “mild yet effective approach to skin needs.” Secondly, we are big supporters of the brand because of their ability to produce high-quality products time and time again. Today we are writing about two of our new favourites from the brand, their Anti-Wrinkle and Firming Day Cream and their Anti-Wrinkle and Firming Night Cream.

Both the day and night creams are advanced, non-greasy formulas that help reduce the appearance of wrinkles. They restore skin to a more youthful state by helping it become firmer and regain its elasticity. Both products are driven by the revolutionary molecule Active HALupeol and Castanea Arcadia (Arcadian Chestnut tree.) These ingredients work to protect the skin’s essential structural elements such as collagen and glycoproteins. Overall, the creams give weaker and older skin suppleness and youthfulness. Our skin was left positively glowing and wonderfully smooth to the touch.

Not only are the products amazingly effective on skin, but they contain over 90% natural ingredients, making them the perfect products for eco-conscious people trying to avoid nasty parabens. The Day Cream is 93.3% natural and the Night Cream is 96.1% natural. They could not be easier to use, simply massage into skin once in the morning and once in the evening and watch as the effects quickly begin to take effect.

You can purchase the Day Cream here for around £39.40 and the Night Cream here for roughly £39.40. Although prices are listed in Euros PayPal is available which will allow you to pay in Pounds.

Korres - Myrrh & Oligoelements Nail Colour

If there's a brand that we love at The Amazing Blog, that is Korres. Their products never seize to amaze us - they smell natural and nice, they're free of nasty ingredients, they have the best packaging and they work. For us, Korres is one of those brands that never disappoints - from their Tinted Lip Balms to their amazing Shower Gels, Korres is a brand that we always go back to. We were rather excited when we heard that they were launching a Nail Colour range; bearing in mind the natural approach to beauty by the brand, we imagined that the formula was going to be designed to strengthen the nails and to keep them healthy. And nothing further from the truth, Korres has designed a stunning nail polish collection without comprimising the brand's natural philosophy.

Korres has come up with a collection of 20 beautiful shades, a Top Coat and a Base Coat. The formula is rich in Myrrh extract, Oligoelements and Provitamin B5 and works towards the nail's overall wellbeing. Myrrh extracts enhances Keratin for stronger and more flexible nails and it also helps boosting hydration levels in the under-nail area. Provitamin B5 provides elasticity and moisture; and Oligoelements, such as Silicium, are essential for the overall nail health, especially for soft and brittle nails.

The Amazing Blog's favourite shades are 88 Midnight Blue and 94 Light Grey. Midnight Blue (see picture) is a deep navy blue-almost-black colour, with a intense blue sheen through it. Perfect for those of you who find black to be too harsh. Light Grey looks beautiful on pale hands, it's a stunning grey shade with a slight taupey touch. These nail polishes are long-lasting - we haven't experienced issues with chipping and the colours are opaque applying just one coat.

The Nail Colour Collection, the Base and Top Coats retail at £9.00 from ASOS and Harvey Nichol's. However, you can now find the Nail Colour polishes for only £4.50 in ASOS... bargain!
