Sunshine in a Bottle

While everyone around me is busy coo-ing over the latest John Lewis advert, making vats of mulled wine and starting on their Christmas shopping, I’m mourning the loss of our Indian Summer. Don’t get me wrong, I love Christmas as much as the next person, but suffering from undiagnosed SAD disorder, I crave summer, and more importantly sunshine.

And while everyone at Amazing PR HQ are fully enthralled in all things festive – with the smells of gingerbread and pumpkin pie infusing the office, I’m longing for a hint of summer. And so I was thrilled to come across beauty phenomenon Kai – all the way from Malibu, and the Sunshine State California. Now available in The Shop at Bluebird, Beauty Works West and Cult Beauty, Kai’s fabulous collection of products are a much needed injection of all things tropical.

A beauty must-have in the States, with a celebrity following including Tyra Banks, Kate Bosworth and Gwyneth Paltrow, we’ve been lucky enough to try a few of their products and can report back that this really is a collection that’s certainly worth its hype.

The body lotion is a classic scented moisturiser that contains safflower seed oil, shea butter and vitamins A, C and E with extracts of comfrey, cucumber and ivy – a real infusion of all things exotic and guaranteed to make your skin smell fantastic and feel butter-soft. They also have a fantastic perfume oil packed with essential oils that comes in an easy to use roll-on-vial; perfect for using on the go!

So, to be part of the beauty sensation that’s taken America by storm, head to one of Kai’s stockists for some final drops of sunshine!
