Skin Soul Drops - Rouge Bunny Rouge

Here at The Amazing Blog, we’re always on the hunt for new and innovative products. Lately we’ve been eyeing the craze over customisable foundations because they’re perfect for those of us who can’t find our exact shade or preferred coverage. Luckily, we've found that Rouge Bunny Rouge has recently launched a product called the Foundation Essence Skin Soul Drops.

This Foundation Essence has the texture of a serum but contains approximately 36% pigments so you can mix it with any moisturising or priming products to make a personalised foundation. This super-blendable fluid has a pore-minimising demi-matte finish that lasts all day! Rouge Bunny Rouge suggests mixing one drop with any base for a tinted moisturiser-like finish, and five drops for a concealer-like finish. We prefer using around 3-4 drops for a natural every day look. No matter how many drops you add, it still has a natural appearance due to the Jojoba, Mimosa, and Sunflower waxes that mimic skin texture. So far only three shades are available, but mixing them with coloured bases makes them easily adjustable to suit your skin tone. These drops are also perfect for lightening or darkening a foundation that you already have!

Friday Favourites - Lipsticks

Lips are such a prominent feature on the face, here at the Amazing Blog we love ours to stand out and ooze confidence. We have chosen a few of our favourite lip products to perfect that pout.

Now if you are more of a matte finish girl, Urban Decay’s new Matte Revolution Lipsticks will be your new best friend. We had the opportunity to try colours Tilt, Bad Blood and After Dark, each colour was extremely pigmented and super creamy. Once you’ve finished admiring the gorgeous colour in the mirror, you’ll notice that even as they dry to a matte finish your lips still retain their moisture. We made the mistake of leaving swatches to dry on our hands, and soon found out that it has some serious staying power!

From the colours we tried, there is one to fit everyone, Tilt is an extremely bright orange-toned red, while Bad Blood is an intense, blue-toned red. For those who are more adventurous, After Dark is a gorgeous deep plum with purple reflects which give it a beautiful sheen in the light. Rouge Bunny Rouge - Evanescence Powder and Cream Eye Shadows

Here at The Amazing Blog, we love to get dolled up, particularly with New Year's Eve just around the corner. But every now and then, a product comes along that's packaged so beautifully, we almost don't want to use it. Almost. This was the case when these products from Rouge Bunny Rouge landed on our desks. Although immaculately decorated, these products aren't just a pretty face, although ours were certainly much prettier after using them.

After admiring the beautiful presentation of the Evanescence Imperceptible Powder and Silk Aether Long-lasting Duo Cream Eye Shadow, we put them through their paces to see if they performed as well as we hoped, and we weren't disappointed. The powder is encased in an elegant black box, and embossed with a delicate floral pattern that we had to convince ourselves to disturb. Every detail has been studied to perfection to give the idea of something precious and special; from the brand logo printed on the sponge, to the sleek 'Powder Room' packaging that we adore. Out of the four shades, we tried Halo, a natural beige with a pink undertone that illuminates the skin. We couldn’t ask for a better result as the finish is so invisible it seems like we’re not wearing any make up. Suffer from dry skin? This powder doesn't cake at all, and is enriched with Vitamin C and E, anti-oxidants and has an anti-wrinkle function, so you look flawless all night long.

With skin sorted, perfect your eyes with the brand's creamy shadows. We loved the low key shades in the Gossamer Wing duo, perfect for a neutral smoky look. With a light, soft beige on  one side, and a darker velvety 'cafe au lait' shade on the other, we think this is a duo that would look wonderful on everyone. Wear them alone or together, and the shades are perfect for taking you from a day at the office to a night on the town. Friday Favourites - Perfume Feature

Here at The Amazing Blog, we know how important a signature fragrance can be to your personal beauty routine. After you've fixed up your hair and applied your makeup, applying a bit of fragrance can be the perfect final touch to your ensemble. We all have a favourite fragrance that won't let us down, but sometimes we want to switch it up, and we're sure you do too. To give you a few suggestions for your next fragrance purchase, we've compiled our four newest discoveries that will please and entice your senses.

The new Heritage Collection perfumes from Crabtree & Evelyn are abolutely fabulous. In particular, our favourite scent was Parisian Millefleurs, which is inspired by floral scents of 18th century France. These include narcissus, rose, tuberose and violet. It comes in a simple glass bottle inside of an elegant baby blue box, which is delicately painted with fresh flowers. This fragrance is a must-have since spring is on the way. The perfumes from Rouge Bunny Rouge smell simply amazing, plus they are vegan, phthalate-free and paraben-free. We got a chance to test out two of their lovely fragrances from the Fragrant Confections Collection. Lilt by Rouge Bunny Rouge incorporates the scents of nature, including fig leaves, peach, coconut and violet. It is the perfect balance between fruity and musky. The scent is perfect for any occasion and everyday wear. Incantation by Rouge Bunny Rouge has more of a woody scent with a hint of fruit. The Organic Glam fragrance collection from The Organic Pharmacy has created yet another enticing fragrance we couldn’t wait to get our hands on. All of the scents combine beautifully to create a warm and sensual floral amber. The simple design of the bottle is classic, sophisticated and timeless, so it will look elegant atop your vanity. Friday Favourites: Make-Up We Love

We here at The Amazing Blog are true beauty junkies. Whether we’re obsessing over a new lipstick or testing out a bold eye shadow, we just can’t get enough.

Out of all the cosmetics to choose from, it’s hard to know what to buy and which products are truly worthy of our praise. Thankfully, today’s post contains four of our favourites, so you’ll know they’ve passed our product quality test.

Wish you had eyebrows like Cara Delevingne or Lily Collins? We are totally into the bold brow trend, which is why we have started using Threads Beauty’s ‘Crayon De Sourcil’ to make our thick eyebrow dreams come true.

Threads & Beauty’s ‘Crayon De Sourcil’ is a semi-permanent mineral brow pencil that lines, defines and fills in the brow instantly. Made with carnauba Wax, bees wax, cocoa butter, shea butter and manganese violet, this richly pigmented pencil enhances the appearance of the brows by boosting their fullness and boldness and protects the layer of skin around the brows. We always love a fabulous lip product, whether we’re heading to the office or out with our friends on a weekend. Since red-toned shades are our signature, we loved the Dissolved in Dreams lipstick from Rouge Bunny Rouge. It’s the perfect shade combining the best parts of red and coral lipsticks.
