National Ladies' Shooting Day - The Shotgun and Chelsea Bun Club

At The Amazing Blog, the working week can be fairly hectic as we are sure you can all relate to! So, when the weekend rolls in we love to mix things up a bit and try something a little different. What better way to do so than with a sport that allows you to hone in your hand-eye coordination - clay shooting!

The Shotgun and Chelsea Bun Club brings women of all ages and skill levels together to enjoy the sport and to get out on the weekends to enjoy the country air and the company of new friends. This year’s National Ladies’ Shooting Day event will be held on June 11th, marking the club's second nation-wide shooting event. More than 1000 women are expected to attend the event at its 24 locations across the country, making it the largest event of its kind.

At only £39.50 per person, including equipment, guidance, and the opportunity to win some fantastic prizes, the event is bound to be a fabulously fun day out for seasoned shooters and beginners alike! Visit The Shotgun and Chelsea Bun Club’s website for more information.

Huile Prodigieuse - Nuxe

Here at The Amazing Blog, we love all-in-one products, so you can imagine how excited we were when we had the chance to try the Huile Prodigieuse from Nuxe; an oil that you can apply onto your face, body and hair.

This multi-purpose dry oil promises to nourish, repair and soften our hair and skin.  Blended with Macadamia, Hazelnut, Borage, Almond, Camellia and St. John’s Wort plant oils, this dry oil can be used in so many different ways! You can use it as a normal moisturiser or add a little bit to your foundation, you can also spray it into your hair before blow-drying it for a great shiny finish, apply it as a massage oil, put a few drops for a relaxing bath or even  as an after-sun product to deeply repair and nourish the skin. Lots of amazing options for just one product, right? Its surprisingly non-greasy texture absorbed very quickly and left a gorgeous satin finish on our skin. We also love how it smells, as it features the signature scent of Nuxe that we have just recently reviewed here.

Grab the multi-purpose dry oil Huile Prodigieuse here for £17 (50ml) or £28 (100ml).

London Wine Week 2016

Following a hugely successful London Beer Week which saw 10,000 beer drinkers descend on The Old Truman Brewery in February, DrinkUp.London’s latest festival - London Wine Week - taking place this week (23-29 May 2016), was destined to be another great event! Here at The Amazing Blog we love attending events and we adore wine. So when we found out that LWW was wine-ding down this Sunday we promptly added it to our weekend plans.

The festival has returned to Devonshire Square for a third year, where all of the city's wine lovers can gather for a chance to enjoy a tipple or two. Filled with masterclasses, tutored tastings, supper clubs, meet the maker evenings, parties and pop-ups; you will have an opportunity not only to taste the wine and discover new flavours, but also to expand your knowledge about how wine is made or what food goes best with it. If all this wasn’t enough, over 100 venues across the city will be opening their doors offering £5 tasting wine flights and specially created food and drink pairings for those wearing the festival wristband.

For only £10 you will experience a brilliant event and have the opportunity to witness the very best that wine has to offer. So go ahead and purchase your wristband online here and enjoy your weekend!
