Skin Soul Drops - Rouge Bunny Rouge

Here at The Amazing Blog, we’re always on the hunt for new and innovative products. Lately we’ve been eyeing the craze over customisable foundations because they’re perfect for those of us who can’t find our exact shade or preferred coverage. Luckily, we've found that Rouge Bunny Rouge has recently launched a product called the Foundation Essence Skin Soul Drops.

This Foundation Essence has the texture of a serum but contains approximately 36% pigments so you can mix it with any moisturising or priming products to make a personalised foundation. This super-blendable fluid has a pore-minimising demi-matte finish that lasts all day! Rouge Bunny Rouge suggests mixing one drop with any base for a tinted moisturiser-like finish, and five drops for a concealer-like finish. We prefer using around 3-4 drops for a natural every day look. No matter how many drops you add, it still has a natural appearance due to the Jojoba, Mimosa, and Sunflower waxes that mimic skin texture. So far only three shades are available, but mixing them with coloured bases makes them easily adjustable to suit your skin tone. Miners Fresh Faced Foundation

 

Mineral make-up is growing in popularity every day because it’s actually good for our skin. The Amazing Blog has come across a revitalising, light mineral foundation which moisturises the skin and conceals imperfections without caking your face. Miners Fresh Faced Foundation is a great handbag-sized product for when you’re in need of a quick touch up.

The Fresh Faced Foundation smells refreshing and somewhat youthful. Unlike thick heavy foundations, we found that the texture and application was more comparable to that of a moisturiser which is why the smell is more fragrant than you’d expect.  The smell sticks around as well so you get to enjoy it all day long. Miners have three shades to choose from, Ivory, Buff, and Almond.  This particular foundation would be perfect if you are looking for something with a bit more coverage than a BB Cream but not as dense as most foundations. As we head toward the colder months, a little coverage might be just what you need for those rosy cheeks and Rudolph nose. It reminds me of some of the first foundations I used in my teens, with noticeable but light coverage to avoid that embarrassing foundation two-tone line on your jaw. As an eye-liner devotee kind of gal, I am always wearing my signature winged liner and a good three coats of mascara. Whenever I walk out the door without my jet black eyeliner on, I feel a part of me is missing. Oy! Volumising Mascara

So you’re a frequent buyer of organic food and have dabbled in Fairtrade cotton, but have you ever thought about trying organic makeup? Us girls at Amazing PR certainly hadn’t until we came across the fabulous Green People. A stickler for the same brand, I’m guilty as charged for being about as unadventurous as they come with my make-up. Neither hell nor highwater can convince me to stray from my tried and tested beauty staples, and a trusted line being discontinued is my idea of hell. Applying it in a zig-zag motion means it volumises the lashes and spreads them naturally apart keeping them clump free, and as we all know, clumpy mascara is a huge no-no! My eyes also have a tendency to water at the slightest breeze which can make my mascara run, so it was a breath of fresh air to find that with Organic Young it didn’t!

Organic Young contains no Parabens, Phthalates, Mercury, Petrochemicals or Synthetic colourants so it is truly the most natural mascara that can be offered. It also contains Shea Butter and Almond oil which condition the lashes throughout the day (and night!) I’m all a-flutter just thinking about it!
