You know how much we at The Amazing Blog appreciate an ethical beauty company, so once you hear a little more about today's featured brand, the wonderful Manna, you'll understand why we are obsessed with them! Not only are they cruelty-free (and with the German accreditation from BDIH), they are also an organic brand from Hungary, that was recently recognised by The Vegan Society, for their world-class formulas and quality products. Today we look at Manna's fabulous Body Wash and their brilliant soaps. 

Manna's Body Wash is made with Neroli oil, which is renowned for its calming properties to both the mind and body. Making this the perfect relaxing product to use at the end of a busy day. Friday Feature: Bodycare

We at The Amazing Blog are here to bring you some body products that incorporate the best that nature has to offer. Whether you fancy some donkey’s milk, some aloe vera, nut oils or shea butter, we have something for you. You only get given one body in your life, so treat it with care!

The first treat for your skin is Mathilde B’s Donkey’s Milk Shower Gel. Mathilde B is a cosmetics company with a unique star ingredient; donkey’s milk. With products ranging from shampoos, face creams, hand and feet creams and body lotion, your entire body can be pampered with some donkey’s milk. We were lucky enough to receive the shower gel.

Mrs Léon was inspired by Cleopatra’s beauty rituals, in which the notorious queen famously bathed in donkey’s milk. Bringing this historical trend back, Mathilde B’s Donkey Milk range is soothing and softening on the skin. Donkey milk is famous for its regenerative powers, and is extremely gentle on the skin, even for those with particularly sensitive skin. This is because donkey’s milk is close to breast milk and is therefore tolerated by sensitive skins. This star ingredient is packed with vitamins, including A, B1, B2, B6, C, D and E. Vitamin A and C both help to nourish the skin and prevent wrinkles, vitamin B softens the skin while D is extremely effective against eczema and dry skin and vitamin E protects the skin from harmful external factors.

What is especially impressive to us, is that the milk comes from Mathilde B’s local production, and is therefore guaranteed to be pure and of high quality. The products are not tested on animals, and are free-from parabens and GMOs. Mathilde B, a French brand, based near the Pays Basque renowned for their unique black cherries incorporates this ingredient into all of Mathilde B’s products for a fruity and sensual scent.

If you suffer from chronically dry skin, a rich cream is what you’re after. Lavera’s Basis All Round Cream is a rich moisturising cream in a handy little (recyclable) tin, ideal for on-the-go. This cream is perfect for particularly dry areas of the body such as cracked heels, elbows and knees, but can be used all over the body if you so wish! The organic shea butter and almond leave skin intensely nourished and protected. This multi-use product can be used on all skin types and for the whole family, including those with especially sensitive skin. Although it is ultra-moisturising, it is easily absorbed into the skin, which is a bonus for us as we're not fond of that slippery feeling when your moisturiser just won't sink in. Creamy but non-greasy is the ultimate pairing.

Ultrasun's Face Tan Activator Protection SPF30 and Daily UV Hair Protector.

Summer can be a dangerous time of year for both skin and hair, as we desperately over do it trying to look like the golden goddesses. Now, don’t get us wrong, all of us at The Amazing Blog are big tanners (real or fake) but we are also big fans of sun safety. There is absolutely no point dedicating your life to using only the best beauty, skin and haircare products if you're going to let yourself prematurely age with sun damage. Dermo28 Skincare

Italian formula Dermo28 for skin and eye care has already carved its niche with The Amazing Blog. The four products that caught our eye (excuse the pun!) are the Dermo28’s Eye Complex an eye treatment for wrinkle reduction; the Recovery Cream which is a sensitive skin soothing cream; Cream Acida a pH balancing treatment and Regolatore pH a pH balancing toner. Dermo28's name was chosen carefully, as 28 is the number of days it takes for cells to regenerate.

Dermo28’s Eye Complex is a favourite eye treatment pick for wellness enthusiasts. The presence of vitamin C in its plant form is characterised to restore firmness and compactness to the sensitive skin around the eye area. High traces of aloe vera and pro-vitamin B5 provide optimal moisturisation and soothing to the area. Using this eye cream will make the eyes relaxed, refreshed and rejuvenated for an eventful day and offering a peaceful sleep available at £54 for 15ml.

Recovery Cream is a highly sensitive skin friendly cream, which is devoid of all allergens. The key ingredients are ceramides, argan oil and liquorice extracts, together with vitamin E and C, olive oil and allantoina which is for elasticising, soothing and moisturising. Crema Acida and Regolatore pH are two products designed to work in tandem. A perfect combination that addresses blemished skin by refreshing and rebalancing. Designed to restore the skin's natural acidity level and rebalance pH levels.  The Cream Acida is the first step, apply after thoroughly cleansing the skin, smoothing a thin layer onto the face. It contains a combination of vitamin C and E, hydraterm and hyaluronic acid. It also has cypress for soothing, shea butter and lemon balm for their moisturising qualities. After a minute allowing it to sink in, it is then cleansed off with the Regolatore pH balancing toner, which calms any irritation and corrects the acidity levels in the skin preventing any bad bacteria. Again this contains ingredients of vitamin C with hyderaterm and hyaluronic acid, which work together with succinct acid for detoxifying and an antioxidant effect; the cypress extracts create a stimulating effect for microcirculation.
