Babor – Multi Vitamin & Oxygen Plus Ampoule Concentrates FP

Here at The Amazing Blog, we understand how important it is to maintain the correct balance of nourishment for our skin. A lack of vitamins can cause our skin to suffer and appear tired and stressed. What we particularly like about Babor's Multi Vitamin and Oxygen Plus is that they offer two different ampoule concentrates that can help to rejuvenate your skin. In the past, we wrote about Babor's Enzyme Cleanser; so of course, we had high expectations in trying out these ampoule concentrates... And we're happy to report that they didn't disappoint!

Since 1956, Babor has been working to use scientific research in Germany to create products with the highest active ingredient performance rates. Babor is a family company that is committed to protecting the environment. They only use natural energy, ship their products in a carbon neutral manner and they only print on FSC-certified paper

One of our team used Babor's Multi Vitamin, this ampoule of fluid contains vitamin A, pro vitamin B5, vitamin E encapsulated in liposomes, and biotin. These different vitamins perk up the skin for the day ahead. It offers a wide array of benefits that are sure to bring a fresh and healthy look to dry or stressed skin, we think it's ideal for city living. This product can be used in the morning and/or at night depending on your own preferences and skincare needs.

We also tried the Oxygen Plus in our regime. This ampoule is designed to wake up and refresh tired looking skin. The fluid contains encapsulated oxygen that provides skin cells with high energy levels leaving the skin feeling fresh. The product also contains vitamin E that protects the skin from free radicals and premature signs of ageing on the skin. An added bonus to some of you is that it is vegan!

The two products are both very simple to use. After washing your face, you pour one 2 ml container of liquid into the palm of your hand and then apply it evenly to your face and neck. After using you can apply your regular moisturiser/night cream or if in the morning your favourite SPF cream ready to take on the day!. These two Babor products are available to purchase online in sets of 7 x 2ml glass ampoules. You can purchase your own Babor Multi Vitamin here for £20.00; or you can purchase your own Oxygen Plus here for £35.00.

Mychelle Dermaceuticals - Cleanser and Eye Cream

Here at The Amazing Blog, it's no secret that natural skincare is a true love of ours. So we were excited to come across a brand that not only uses natural ingredients, but also strives to help the planet in return. Mychelle Dermaceuticals credits its fantastic range of products to the power of nature. Mychelle products are free from toxins and they ensure the packaging and containers are reusable and recyclable, resulting in their 2011 Responsible Packaging Award win.

We were lucky enough to try the Refining Sugar Cleanser and Remarkable Retinal Eye Cream. The natural sugar in the cleanser gently exfoliates the skin, but after contact with water transforms into a creamy, foaming lather that cleanses and hydrates the skin. This two-in-one product eliminates the need for an extra exfoliator - now that’s truly eco-friendly. For an added boost, the cleanser is infused with anti-ageing peptides and Crocus Chrysanthus Extract which firms the skin and reduces wrinkles. It seems there is nothing this cleanser cannot do!

The delicate moisturising eye cream requires only a pearl-sized amount applied to be effective - a little goes a long way. Turn back the clock with a formula of anti-ageing Retinaldehyde, plant stem cells, peptides and rich botanical oils. This defends your skin gently but extremely effectively against signs of ageing, by firming and smoothing fine lines. We loved the silky texture and yellow tint that colour corrected against under-eye discolouration.

If you want effective and eco-friendly skincare, get your own Mychelle cleanser and eye cream here for £21.50 and £29.90.

The English Mineral Makeup Company - Mineral Foundation

When it comes to make-up, we always favour a flawless finish here at The Amazing Blog. However, we never like to look caked in foundation. So when The English Mineral Makeup Company  sent over their Mineral Foundation for us to try, we were happy to let our skin breathe whilst giving ourselves comfortable coverage.

One thing we found seriously impressive about the brand is the sheer range of colours to choose from. With 30 shades to choose from, whether you’re porcelain or ebony, their foundation shades literally have you covered. It’s so refreshing to find a brand that cater to every skin colour. The lightweight powder provides a decent amount of coverage, and buffs easily into the skin when using the brands super soft kabuki brush. Lasting all day, the foundation is also 100% vegan and 100% pure mineral, so it’s really pure enough to sleep in. Great for those who are environment conscious, or simply for those looking for a soft focus foundation, The English Mineral Makeup Company is certainly worth checking out.

Perfect your skin the natural way with The English Mineral Makeup Company. You can buy the Mineral Foundation here for £37.

The Konjac Sponge Company - Angel Cloth

Here at The Amazing Blog, we’re big fans of cream cleansers. Whether we give our faces a scrub in the shower (guilty as charged) or give our cleansing routine a bit more loving attention, we usually reach for a flannel or muslin cloth to help us along the way. So we were curious when the Original Konjac Angel Cloth from The Konjac Sponge Company landed on our desks, and were excited to see how it compared to our regular cleansing tools.

Looking uncannily like a prawn cracker, we were somewhat bemused by the odd looking cloth. However, when rinsed with water, the cloth relaxes and expands into a soft cleansing square, perfect for use with our favourite products. Rich in minerals and super gentle on the skin, the 100% Natural Vegetable Fibre Face Cloth makes a milder alternative to a muslin cloth, and is extremely kind to the skin. Made from the Japanese Konjac plant, it’s packed with antioxidant properties and, being 100% natural, is more than ideal for sensitive skin. We were surprised by just how soft it was – it’s certainly not what you expect when you see the angel shaped sponge in its packaging.

Turn over a more gentle cleansing leaf with the Original Konjac Angel Cloth. You can buy it here for £11.99.
