The Coconut Collaborative – Coconut Milk Yoghurts and Frozen Yoghurts

Here at The Amazing Blog, we love the occasional tempting treat. However, although we crave the instant gratification a sugary snack can give, we’re not too fond of the guilty feeling and the effect that they have on our waistline. It’s always something of a revelation when we unearth a delicious snack that tastes naughty, but has none of the drawbacks. Lately we can’t get enough of the delectable offerings from The Coconut Collaborative.

Established by the founder of those tasty Gu Puds we all love, James Averdieck, and leading nutritionist, Steve Bessant, The Coconut Collaborative have a range of wonderful coconut milk based products which aim to give all of the sweetness, with none of the guilt. Free from dairy, gluten, sugar and soya, as well as being vegan, we expected it to have that ‘healthy’ taste that doesn’t quite satisfy a sweet tooth. However we were seriously impressed with these delicious desserts. Our favourite was the Mango & Passion Fruit Yoghurt. Just creamy enough to feel indulgent, but light enough to be a fresh summer treat, it’s all we’ve been snacking on lately. Their Raspberry Snowconut is also difficult to resist, and perfect for cooling you down on those particularly sunny days.

Grab a spoon and dig in to these wonderful pots of goodness. These delicious yoghurt treats are available to buy here for £1.69. The equally delicious tubs of Snowconut are available for £4.99.

CoolHerbals - CoolSlim Body Wrap

Although we always have the best intention of toning up our bikini bodies, summer often comes and goes without a jot of difference to our physiques. Obviously, here at The Amazing Blog, we feel that it’s important to be comfortable in your own skin, whatever your size, but we do often wish we looked a little less wobbly in a swimming costume! So when CoolHerbals sent the CoolSlim Body Wrap to the office, we were all keen to see if it had the toning effect we so long for.

Promising a firm, slimmer look, the Body Wrap kit contains Wrap Paste, Skin Firming Lotion, as well as Arm, Thigh and Stomach Belts. Packed with Gophichand Clay, which helps to draw out toxins, as well as mineral enriched Marine Extracts, ideal for stimulating circulation, the kit was surprisingly easy to use. Applying the paste to our wobbly areas, we then wrapped ourselves in the fabric belts, and waited for a mere 30 minutes. After feeling the heating effect, and washing off the excess paste, we applied the Skin Firming Lotion, and were pleasantly surprised by how much firmer our skin looked. Although we’re not too sure this would work as a long-term solution, the kit was perfect for those one off days where you wanted to look your best.

Tone up and feel great with the CoolHerbals Body Wrap Kit. You can buy it here for £44.95.

Renouve - Anti-Aging Every Day Defense Hand Sanitizing Serum

Living in London and using public transit, it is no surprise that we here at The Amazing Blog find ourselves in need of a good hand sanitiser to carry with us through the day. All too often, however, we find our hands cracked and dried by the time the day is up. We, therefor, couldn’t have been happier to receive Renouve Anti – Aging Every Day Defense Hand Sanitizing Serum. This revolutionary product is the world’s first anti – ageing hand sanitising lotion made with collagen stimulating peptides, and our hands couldn’t be more thankful.

Renouve is exactly what you look for in a hand sanitiser, killing 99.99% of bacteria while remaining alcohol free. Even more than that however, Renouve is clinically proven to firm skin and diminish wrinkles. After using this serum just a few times each day, the skin on our hands felt tighter and younger.  Renouve does this using palmitoyl tripeptide – 5 which stimulates collagen production in your hands.  Needless to say, after using a sanitiser that cleans, moisturises and gives us skin that feels and looks younger, we’ll never use generic again.

Renouve Hand Sanitizing Serum comes in six unique colours to match your mood and can be purchased here for £22.00

Kahina - Lip & Face Balm

Here at The Amazing Blog, we often cart around a multitude of beauty products in our handbags, so that we’re ready to strike whenever a bout of dry skin or frizzy hair attacks. Unfortunately, the abundance of products can often become a little weighty, so we always appreciate travel sized and multi-purpose products. Kahina’s Lip & Face Balm falls into both those categories, so, naturally, it has become a staple in our bags this summer.

Packaged in Kahina’s signature sleek, black glass packaging, the pint-sized balm is perfect for an on-the-go beauty regime. Its soothing blend of natural, powerhouse ingredients, such as anti-inflammatory Calendula, Sea Buckthorn Extract and Olive Oil, help to soothe and repair dry skin and lips. On first glance, its honey hue doesn’t look like the type of product you’d like to smooth onto your skin. However, the oily concoction gives just the right amount of moisture when blended into the skin, leaving it feeling perfectly nourished and not at all greasy. It’s the perfect addition to any packing list.

Pick up this little jar of wonder elixir for £34 here. It’s certainly worth splashing the cash when it makes your skin feel this fantastic.
