Eco Soapia- Organic Sicilian Orange Hand and Body Wash

It’s a simple fact that you can’t make quality products without using quality ingredients, and we at The Amazing Blog have made this fact a way of life. As such we are always on the hunt for brands that also follow this belief and it has never failed us. This week we came across the legendary brand Eco Soapia who has turned making soap into an art form. Three generations of soap making knowledge have been collected to make this brand as perfect as it can be.

With a large selection of choices, we decided to try their Organic Sicilian Orange Hand and Body Wash. Unlike conventional soaps which are created using cheap and chemically laden ingredients, which harm skin, Eco Soapia uses only organic ingredients that are Soil Association Certified.  There are no sodium lauryl sulphates, parabens, GMO’s, DEA’s, MEA’s, artificial colours or fragrances. What’s more, the product is cruelty-free and  has been approved by the vegetarian society. The soap, based on an original 1930’s family recipe, left our skin feeling cleansed and clean. The soap has a fresh and citrus scent that lasted all day.

For centuries the vegetable-based Castile has been considered the soap of European royalty, so treat you and your skin to some luxury. You can purchase the Sicilian Orange Hand and Body Wash here for £6.95.

Odylique - Gentle Herb Shampoo

Here at The Amazing Blog we all have different hair types and hair needs, which can change over time. As a result, the chance to try something new is always welcomed with open arms.

Gentle Herb Shampoo from Odylique is the first shampoo to achieve Soil Association approval, meaning that it complies with UK, European and International standards. This rare accolade highlights the commitment to the environment which Odylique products display. Additionally, the shampoo emits a luxurious smell with gentle texture, creating a product which is packed with natural goodness. Containing Rosemary, Chamomile and Aloe Vera, the shampoosoftens, nourishes and scents hair in a gorgeously organic way. The benefits of natural herbs and oils combined with the absence of harsh detergents means that after a week or so of regular use, you should find that you don't need a separate conditioner. We loved that we could skip using conditioner occasionally, as it meant more time in the mornings for us.

Odylique products are available through many different outlets but the Gentle Herb Shampoo is available through a distributor herefor £10.50

Skin Blossom Reviving Eye Cream

As the fellow readers of The Amazing Blog will know already we absolutely love all things natural and organic. Once I started getting into products' ingredients, my overall view of skincare changed dramatically - I started investing on quality brands that offered me specifically what my skin needed. I learned to identify ingredients that skin, in general, doesn't need and that average skincare contains as a rule. One day whilst doing my research on organic brands and products, I came across Skin Blossom and their Organic Facial Skincare Range. At the time, I needed a new eye-cream as I was running out of mine (and didn't really love it...), and decided to give their Reviving Eye Cream a go. When it comes to eye-cream, I look for something very nourishing but not too greasy. I always tend to go for rich formulas and use the smallest amount of product, as I'm really scared of milia. Skin Blossom Reviving Eye Cream's consistency is just the perfect mixture of a cream and a velvety soft gel - it's gentle and feels fresh on the skin. The formula is 85% organic and 98.85% natural - it contains Green Tea (fantastic antioxidant), Eyebright and Buckwheat extract; very brightening ingredients that I found worked great on my undereye area. One of the things I liked the most about the eye cream is that it's very gentle and scentless; which makes it perfect for those of you with sensitive skin.

Skin Blossom's products are made of organic ingredients and certified to the strict Soil Association organic skin care standards; and they're also suitable for Vegans. At The Amazing Blog, we have loved this eyecream and we're really looking forward to using more skincare items by Skin Blossom. Their prices are affordable and their quality impeccable from our experience.

Skin Blossom Reviving Eyecream retails at £4.95. You can visit their website to see a full list of stockists.
