One of our favourite product is the Day and Night cream, which is not surprising as it is one of the brand’s bestsellers. Did I just say that we loved the Flora Mare Day and Night Cream, well then we adored the Brightening Moment eye cream. This moisturising eye cream unlike any other cares and enhances your skin. Formulated with sea and maritime plants ingredients it deeply nourishes the skin, and reduces the visibility of dark circles and redness around the eyes. As well as concealing imperfections and illuminating the eyes the cream can also be used as a base for eyeshadows. Ocean Elixir such an inspiring and promising name. This moisturising face serum is a real treat for the skin. Like the brand’s other products it is made with the Flora Mare unique recipe and ingredients including concentrated sea minerals and trace elements that instantly provide the hydration the skin needs. The consistency of the serum is very light; it spreads evenly on the skin and gives you a youthful radiance.

When we think about beauty and skincare, we tend to give great importance to the face and often neglect other parts of our body like the hands. Nail Polish By Maggie Anne

Nail polish is the perfect accessory to transport your look from season to season, and so we, at The Amazing Blog, have hand-picked some gorgeous autumnal shades from Maggie Anne’s extensive colour choice, for you to sport as summer melds into winter. Not only this, but it is vegan, 6-free and the formula is a winner.

We were lucky enough to receive the colours Olive, Sapphire, Nancy and Jasper. Olive, a muted sage green with creamy and grey undertones is ideal for the cooler months. Sapphire, like that of its name, is a rich blue, but still with those grey undertones to give it that autumnal vibe. We had to include a nude, as it is a staple in any girl’s collection, and Jasper is our new favourite. Friday Feature - Lips

The fun, or perhaps daunting, part about cosmetics for your lips is that the variety is vast, from sheer lipsticks, to opaque lip glosses, to shimmery lip glosses, to matte lipsticks, to moisturising salves and lip balms, the options are endless. We at The Amazing Blog maintain that the staples are a matte lipstick with longevity, a shiny lip gloss to use as a matte lipstick topper or on natural lips, an intense lip salve to use as a rich treatment, and an on the go lip balm. In our selection today, you’ll find all of these.

Lip preparation is very important when you’re going to be putting product on your lips, as you don’t want cracks and dried skin. Smith’s have a range of lip moisture products, and we were lucky enough to try the Rosebud Salve and the Tropical Ambrosia Balm. The former is their self-proclaimed ‘miracle in a can!’ and is their original salve dating back to 1892. The latter is a modern twist on the traditional formula with a heady combination of coconut and mango. The base formula has remained unchanged for over 100 years, with just some additional flavours added in to ramp up the vintage recipe for a modern generation. The concentrated blend of oil is high in vitamins A and E, which will do so much good for dry skin. The salves have a buttery, emollient texture which soothes chapped and cracked lips and anywhere that is craving for some extra-hydration – our cuticles and elbow love it! You can even add some dewiness to your face by tapping some onto cheekbones or keep unruly eyebrows and flyaway hairs in check with a touch of salve. Really, the options are endless.
